Best NDPS Lawyer in Delhi India

Best NDPS Lawyer in Delhi India.

What is the Role of a Lawyer in the NDPS Act in

The NDPS Act, or the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act,1985, is one of the most disturbing cases in the Indian Jurisdiction. This law prohibits the consumption, trade, and production of drugs and psychotropic substances. The Special Narcotics Department handles this department, which is a serious issue. This blog will clarify all the parameters of a lawyer’s role under the NDPS Act in India.

Introduction to NDPS Act

This act was introduced to operate and control the use of narcotics and psychotropic substances in India. It covers all these substances’ cultivation, manufacturing, sales, transportation, and consumption. The law is designed to make sure that the citizens are safe from narcotics and drugs. It also focuses on the prevention of illegal activities. The NDPS Act has the power to give the loge imprisonment and death penalty charges.

This law also gives the individuals to defend their case in the court. Sometimes, the individuals are involved in this case without their concern. The illegal activities are done by various media, and a normal citizen is not aware of this. The role of a lawyer is really important as they have the legal strategy to protect the victim. The experience and the skill of a lawyer are very critical while handling the case.

The Role of a Lawyer Under the NDPS Act

The lawyers who are specialised in NDPS cases have the power to defend the case in the courtroom. In this process of filing the complaint to the bail of the victim, the lawyers handle all the parameters.

1. Knowledge of the Legal System

The NDPS Act has multiple sections and legal provisions. One lawyer can understand all the important parameters. It is important to understand the charges applied to you and their consequences. For example, section 27 of the NDPS Act is made for the consumption of drugs and the penalties also depend on the type of drug consumption. A skilled NDPS lawyer has a deep knowledge of these sections and they can navigate through all possible ways to defend their clients.

2. Deal With Applied Charges

Most of the NDPS cases deal with fake charges. One individual accidentally falls in the case and they are charged with serious offences. An experienced lawyer examines all the charges applied to the victims and works on the evidence. The lawyer also creates a good profile of the client with the back-dated behaviour. Some small narcotics crimes can deal with small penalties and they can easily be removed from the victim.

3. Building a Strong Defence

A strong defence needs proper paperwork and documentation. The lawyer has the advantage of questioning the prosecution about the procedure for making an arrest. The narcotics department needed to seize the amount of drugs and the substances, if they failed then the lawyer had the authority to present to dismiss the case. The lawyers also ensure that the rights of the client are not violated and that the Constitution of India gives a fair trial for the victim.

4. Post Convictions

When the client is found guilty in a courtroom the lawyer’s role does not stop there. They can file the case in the high court and can challenge the conviction of the order. In some cases, the high court result may turn the case to a better angle.

Sum it up With

The NDPS act is not a simple crime, it involves a lot of sections and acts. It is always advisable to consult a high court lawyer to handle the case. The best lawyers in Delhi can resolve the case and will also make sure that the rights of the victim are maintained. These lawyers have the experience and the knowledge to make the negotiations and get the best outcome possible.
